Tolga is an expert corporate strategist who builds and advises growth-focused companies, assisting them to achieve superior performance through new ventures and by realigning existing ones for growth. His clients are senior leaders and boards in retail, consumer products, financial services, telecommunications, media, pharmaceuticals, and non-profit sectors. Tolga’s work has enabled clients to grow successfully in new ways, using organic means as well as strategic partnerships, alliances and acquisitions. Tolga teaches in George Washington University’s MBA program and has been a guest lecturer at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. He was a Member Invitee at the World Economic Forum’s Technology Empowerment Network, and has been quoted in noted publications such as the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Post, and Boston Business Journal.
Prior to joining RES Partners, Tolga was VP of Strategy at AARP, where he led new strategic market initiatives. Previously, he was a VP in the Strategy & Analysis Practice of Digitas, a subsidiary of Publicis, where his clients have included LL Bean, Stop & Shop/Giant/Peapod, American Express, MetLife, and Merck. As VP of Strategy & Marketing at LexisNexis, Tolga transformed several business units from commoditized information aggregator to value added solution provider. Earlier in his career, Tolga held positions of increasing responsibility at Deloitte Consulting’s Global Strategy practice, Pyramid Research Inc., CSC Index, and Oliver Wyman.
Tolga holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business and an A.B. cum laude in Economics and Engineering Sciences from Harvard College. He is the author of Telecommunications in Turkey, published in 1992 by Columbia University.
