Michael is an operations leader specializing in education and e-learning technologies, who has built technical consulting, program management offices (PMO), professional and client services organizations into strong contributors to company revenue and profitability. He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in technology, education and telecomm related businesses with both large and small firms to his clients. His experience includes key positions with Fortune 100 companies AT&T and Motorola as well as e-Learning and Education companies Kaplan and Catapult Learning. Michael has re-engineered key processes to cut costs and increase efficiency; built high performing teams which became major revenue generators; and orchestrated critical organizational change efforts designed to turnaround sagging operations.

Prior to Res Partners, Michael served as Senior Vice President of Operations and Professional Services with Kaplan’s e-learning subsidiary (SaaS) where he led the technology consulting, PMO & client services operations. More recently, as Vice President of Education Operations at Catapult Learning, he was a member of the senior cabinet and led several operational organizations including:

  • professional development & consulting;
  • technology initiatives & business development;
  • product development;
  • research & evaluation;
  • training and quality assurance

Michael has also led corporate and business development initiatives for new technology acquisitions, international joint ventures and negotiated several key partnerships for Catapult, AT&T, and Kaplan EduNeering Division. Michael has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for a $23M Telecommunications Company, TeleHouse International (a Japanese based company).

Academically, Michael earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Rutgers University and his MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has completed additional Executive Education coursework in Finance and Strategy Development at Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business as well as the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School.
