Human Resource Strategy, Leadership and Organization Effectiveness

Iona is an experienced Human Resource executive and business professional who has an outstanding track record of developing and implementing initiatives involving leadership development; executive coaching; talent management; organization effectiveness; and HR strategy. She is a certified senior human resource professional (SPHR). Since 2005 Iona has led a consulting practice that focuses on small to mid-size businesses in profit, nonprofit and government sectors. Her clients are in multiple industries including public accounting, law, reinsurance, technology, life sciences, state and local government, nonprofits and higher education. Iona also teaches in the MBA program at Fairleigh Dickinson University, the EMBA program at Sasin Business School in Bangkok, Thailand and in the AMA and HR certification programs at Mercer County Community College.

Iona has been a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Sustainable Enterprise at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In her previous role as an HR Executive with Lucent Technologies, Iona was instrumental in developing and executing talent strategies that helped global organizations grow, adapt and thrive during periods of wholesale change. Prior to her role at Lucent Technologies, Iona served in both Human Resource and business roles at AT&T and Monroe Business Systems.

Iona has a Masters in Business Education and a Bachelors of Science from the College of New Jersey. She is also an alumnus of the MBA program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
