Brian is a successful entrepreneur, a seasoned sales and marketing professional, and an accomplished CEO with over 25 years of experience driving profitable revenue growth and leading turnarounds. At Res Partners, Brian works with CEOs and investors implementing highly effective business development strategies that help turn market opportunities into powerful engines of growth and profitability. In addition, he guides clients on capital-raise strategies, operational issues and in implementing proven sales methodologies.
Brian E. McDonnell serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Waytek, a subsidiary of Copia Enterprises, Inc. Brian acquired Waytek in October of 2009 and is on task to achieve record growth in sales and profitability through expansion of professional services and product offerings. Waytek (http://waytek.com) is a premium IT service provider offering vertical expertise in such fields as healthcare, government, and education. Established in 1992, Waytek brings solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency and data security.
Prior to Waytek, as CEO of RippleTech, Brian transformed a struggling company and returned it to profitability. He acquired and integrated two complementary businesses; tripled revenues; and ultimately secured multiple offers resulting in an attractive exit for investors. As a demonstrated leader in emerging technology, Brian previously co-launched two start-ups – Wayfarer and Topline. He also built turn-around strategies for six others, including two headquartered in Europe – Wall Data, MTA, Katron, Peregrine Systems, Constellar, iMediation and Electronic Ink. At Wall Data, Brian built and led a team that catapulted revenue from $300K to over $22M which fueled the company’s successful IPO.
Brian is a member of EPP, Inc’s Board of Directors; an Entrepreneur in Residence for ETF Venture Funds; and on the advisory board for Business Technologies, Inc. Brian is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University.
