Working closely with CEOs, other leaders, leadership teams, and Res Partners colleagues, Avik diagnoses, develops and implements business changes to improve revenue and profit performance. His work focuses on a wide range of strategic and operational priorities that clients find difficult to address on their own. These may include finding new sources of revenue, structuring complex partnerships, realizing operational efficiencies, changing performance culture, etc. Avik specializes in integrating strategic problem solving methodologies with tried and tested change management practices and technology enabled solutions. He is dedicated to helping clients hone in on the right metrics to drive performance. He then rolls up his sleeve and works with them to “move the needle” where it matters most.
Before starting Res Partners, Avik served as the Senior Vice-President of Corporate Development and Operations at Kaplan EduNeering. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ernst & Young LLP, and McKinsey & Co. Avik is a co-founder of MedAvante, a Goldman Sachs financed startup providing solutions to life-science companies that improve the conduct of neuroscience clinical trials. Before starting his business career, Avik practiced architecture and urban design, with significant work experience in Japan and India.
Avik holds an MBA from The Wharton School, MS degrees from Harvard and MIT in planning and design, and a Bachelor of Architecture from The School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India. He is a Board Member and Treasurer at the Asian Arts Initiative, a Philadelphia based not-for-profit organization.
